I appreciate the sarong for its versatile simplicity. This form of wrap is common throughout much of South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Horn of Africa, and on many Pacific Islands. Each having its own name.  Interesting is the different ways of wearing it.

The weather is warming up. I’ve been wearing a pareo around the house. By no means am I by the beach right now, but I find it’s a great piece to throw on while lounging around. It also makes a great cover for an afternoon weekend siesta. The one I own in particular I’ve had forever and it it always smells like the beach.
