“My way of showing is very melancholic… I love romanticism and sensuality,” says Tisci. Words after my own heart. 

I really like how Tisci has revitalized the Givenchy brand. Although not quite like the phenomenon of what is Marc Jacobs (Louis Vuitton in addition to Marc’s own signature lines), it is inspiring to watch this Creative Director in the maturing of his ideas. Despite mixed reviews on Tisci’s creative precision, Givenchy is seeing brighter days. In my opinion, the spring 2009 haute couture show is rather beautiful.

Here’s to challenges that shape us.
